Job Description : Mechanical – Manager

Experience : 06-08 years and the Qualification required is BE/ B-Tech (Mechanical).

NOTE: This is not a purely mechanical profile. It involves 30% electronics and 70%

mechanical, more of a “Mechatronics” profile. We are looking for candidates who are
well aware of electronics concepts also (Red highlighted skills). Candidates must have
an avionics background. Candidates from the following organizations can be the right

Functional Competencies Required:

Prior experience with the following: Experience in System and electronics
packaging; Thermal/Shock/Vibration Environments; EMI/RFI/Tempest
Background; Material/Finishes, PCB layout drawings generation

Exposure for Material selection as per the specification / product requirement.

Connector/Cabling/Harnessing selection criteria.

Sheet Metal/Machining/Die Casting; Surface finishing requirements like
painting and Chromatisation.

Exposure to standard process and procedures for Industrial practices in

Avionics Domain.

Cost and time Estimation for Mechanical Components.

Interact with vendor for Technical Clarification and process stabilization.

In depth knowledge of Solidworks, AutoCAD.

Ability to perform tolerance/stack up analyses; Reliability/Thermal/Structural
Analysis is a plus.

Define product specifications based on requirements from product management,
including liaising and negotiating with product management and quality

Foster innovation technology product development.

Project process under Plan-of Record control with weekly status to be made
available for all projects.

Ownership for the technical quality, functional completeness, and on-time

delivery of the product.

Establish development schedules and drive to successful and on-time delivery of
product to QA.

Responsible for day-to-day tactical management of development issues.

Manage the daily personnel/operating activities of the department, providing
technical and career guidance and solution assistance.

Time management and prioritize tasks to achieve results within cost and
